Manager Patient Safety Greece

- Act as the National/Local Qualified Person or Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance, as defined by local regulations, and maintain direct communication with the Local Health Authority on Pharmacovigilance matters.
- Foster strong relationships with key functions within the local Affiliate organization(s), including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, Commercial, Marketing and Sales, and Clinical Development.
- Collaborate with the Patient Safety regional lead(s) and third-party vendor(s) to ensure the Patient Safety organization is well-represented within the local Affiliate(s).
- Develop and sustain effective communication channels with local Affiliate(s), Patient Safety Regional lead(s), the EU-QPPV and third-party vendor(s).
- Ensure effective supervision of all case management activities within the local Affiliate(s), maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance (note: case management may be partially or fully outsourced to third-party vendors).
- Ensure all received Adverse Events are reported within 24 hours of receipt via the dedicated local adverse event generic email address. This guarantees timely processing of all Adverse Events by the Third-Party Vendor.
Job Requirements:
- Health Care Sciences Professional (e.g., Medical Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist) or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in drug-safety or pharmacovigilance (preferred) and/ or experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and accomplishment in patient safety or similar role in a local/matrix environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of national and international regulations for pharmacovigilance.
- Knowledge of pharmacological and medical terminology.
- Good communication, strong planning, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills.
- Fluent Greek & English.
