Sutton Hong Kong is looking for an Account Manager to join its passionate and committed team of cultural strategists, who will be responsible for leading PR and media campaigns.
Summary
Account Managers work closely to support Account Directors or equivalent account lead in ensuring that the strategy and campaigns are developed and followed through. Senior Account Managers/ Account Managers handle the day-to-day relationship with clients, drafting releases, managing approval processes, pitching to journalists, managing logistics, securing press coverage and managing Account Executives with some support from the account lead as required.
The successful candidate will be a strong collaborator who is able to navigate multiple projects for the short and longer term. They will have experience of delivering coverage in a range of media outlets including print, broadcast and online and have existing relationships with international cultural media contacts. Experience in providing excellent strategic advice, developing impactful communication strategies, strong relationship management skills, experience of managing and motivating team members, and generating new business are essential.
Candidates should have good communication skills in written and spoken English, and those with proficiency in Cantonese and/or Putonghua would be at a strong advantage.
Sutton is an international cultural communications agency, and its clients include many of the world’s leading art fairs, commercial galleries, festivals, museums, non-profit organisations, luxury brands that work in the arts and cultural space, and corporate supporters of the arts.
