RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
- Core member of Regional Management Team located in Hong Kong with primary focus on regulatory, legal and compliance related matters.
- Partner closely with Legal, Compliance and relevant stakeholders on policies and procedures development and implementation, handling of exceptions to policies and standard process, as well as driving business initiatives
- Managing the interpretation and application of various regulatory requirements from business perspective and providing pragmatic solutions to compliance or control issues
- Drive policy implementation arising from new regulations or changes of rules
- Liaise with regulators on regulatory exams/ investigations/ surveys and requests
- Managing and handling of complaints, errors and incidents
- Chinese language skill is required
- Self-starter who takes ownership and can lead/manage projects independently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build and foster a strong network of relationships; confidence to work closely with senior management
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and presentation skills
- Highly organized and process oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Results-oriented: ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, handling multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
- Good judgment and discretion, with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and care
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity Teamwork orientation
