Role Introduction

Reports To: Cargo Distribution Manager
Air freight cargo is currently experiencing a digital transformation. The primary objective of this position is to empower CX (Cathay Cargo) to enhance the breadth of its distribution network. By doing so, we aim to drive continuous improvements across all distribution channels, with a particular focus on our direct portal. The jobholder will play a crucial role in extracting data from various distribution channels, converting it into actionable insights, and supporting the long-term growth of Cathay Cargo.
Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive continuous improvement of all distribution channels including Cathay Cargo flagship website and API connections to expand distribution breadth and customer penetration
• Oversee marketplace participation to expand customer coverage and capitalize on innovative solution.
• Be a business owner to take lead and support distribution projects to ensure timely and cost effective project delivery
• Design and improve solutions to cater unique sales practice from different regions and achieve the global standardization
• Deliver a user-friendly and intuitive UI/UX design through the Digital Experience team, continuing to enhance the selling functions of the automated distribution solutions
• Maintain effective communications with worldwide sales teams to ensure all the stakeholders keep abreast of latest developments
• Consolidate the business requirements from all stakeholders to enhance existing core engines
• Enhance data capture and data analytics on customer behavioural data to support sales teams’ commercial decisions
• Benchmark and keep abreast of industry trend and latest technology of e-channels
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Cargo industry
• Good capabilities of data analytics and numerical capabilities with experience in business process review preferred
• Good understanding of the cargo logistics chain will be highly preferred
• Sound project management skills with solid experience in participating in cross-departmental work
• Hard-working, motivated, willing to learn and take on new initiatives and eager to drive changes
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin, with polished communication skills
• Good cargo commercial, reservation, and distribution channels knowledge is a plus.
