The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our Exhibitions and Digital Business Department.
Responsibilities:

• To promote trade and public fairs in physical and/or hybrid mode to local and overseas visitors
• To meet the team’s KPIs through launching effective marketing campaigns in different channels according to set timelines
• To initiate new and more cost-effective marketing ideas for responsible fairs. Also to ensure the project budget will be spent effectively and generate the best results
• To engage new channels and partners for promoting HKTDC Exhibitions, and keep close relationship with existing partners, with the objective to drive more quality publicity
• To ensure accurate, efficient and effective write-ups for promotional materials such as advertorials, e DMs, fair websites, etc.
• To work closely with colleagues within and across departments to develop proper marketing messages, brand identities and effective marketing campaigns for fairs assigned
• To demonstrate leadership skills and teamwork, to collaborate with various internal teams to formulate effective communication strategies and content
• To take up tasks assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• A university degree in communication, marketing or relevant discipline
• A minimum of five years' working experience in advertising, media or marketing field
• Must be familiar with graphics and production techniques
• Excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• A team player, meticulous and able to meet multiple deadlines

Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
