Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Data Services and play a role to deliver market data-related initiatives. The Platform Solutions team is responsible for planning and delivering solutions that align with the Data Services and the overall exchange strategy.

Job Duties:

The successful applicant will join the Data Services and support the team in platform development and project management. In this role, a good blend of business and technical expertise is required.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with users to understand business requirements and identify necessary technological enhancements.

• Conduct business and technical analysis on possible initiatives from a business and technical perspective. Evaluate and validate the possible solution into production.
• Gather requirements by understanding the business rationale and document requirements.
• Assist in market data industry and market trends analysis to support business strategy.
• Support and participate in UAT testing, test planning, training materials, and other relevant documentation.
• Assist in project management tasks and help to support PM on the projects, tracking progress and risks against scope.
• Assist in project proposal preparation, including the business justification, execution plan, financial projection, risk factors, and mitigation, to support the internal committee and board approval process.
• Develop and maintain meeting minutes project documentation and artifacts throughout different project phases.

Requirements:

• Degree in IS/ Finance / Business
• 3+ years' Working experience as Business Analyst/Project coordinator, preferably gained from Banking /Brokerage / Fin Tech industry
• Good understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, database and system architecture
• Experience in Business analysis and working with business and IT stakeholders
• Excellent Project management skills with proven track record working across full life cycle of a project
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Detail oriented, self-starter and fast learner, with an innovative mindset
• Proficiency in both written/spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
