Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the AML compliance program in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure adherence to FATCA and AEOI requirements, including reporting obligations and due diligence processes.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential money laundering and financial crime risks associated with the company's products, services, and customer base.
Regularly review and update risk assessment frameworks to reflect changes in regulations and business operations.
Create and update AML, FATCA, and AEOI policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and compliant with current regulations.
Ensure that all policies are communicated effectively across the organization.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees and relevant stakeholders on AML, FATCA, and AEOI compliance, ensuring that they understand their roles in preventing financial crime.
Oversee transaction monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board on the effectiveness of the AML program and any identified risks.
Act as the key contact point for regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies regarding AML, FATCA, and AEOI matters.
Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer to safeguard the organization against financial crime risks.
Coordinate responses to audits and inspections conducted by regulatory authorities.
Lead a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of AML strategies.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements
Degree holder, preferably in the disciplines of Business, Accounting, or Law.
Professional Qualification (e.g. ACAMS, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in AML compliance, with specific experience in the insurance sector being highly advantageous.
Strong AML knowledge is a must, and prefer to have knowledge of FATCA and AEOI.
Responsible, proactive with attention to detail, and able to work independently.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with different counterparts.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably able to speak Mandarin.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
