Associate in Investment Operation - in Hong Kong

As an Operations Associate, you will be essential to our team, responsible for:
- Gaining a thorough understanding of CIGP’s operational workflow and executing daily tasks with the team.
- Booking trades, corporate actions, and other transactions in our Portfolio Management System (PMS).
- Maintaining daily Marked-to-Market valuations within the PMS.
- Instructing trade settlements with various custodian banks.
- Collaborating with external financial counterparties (e.g., brokers, custodians) to ensure smooth trade settlement processes.
- Performing daily reconciliations of cash and securities positions between client accounts and bank statements, along with monthly securities reconciliations.
- Sending trade confirmations and statements to CIGP’s clients through our proprietary system and preparing corporate action notes.
- Generating various reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis as needed.
- Monitoring CIGP’s exposure to financial counterparties.
- Engaging daily with the Front Office team to address ad-hoc requests and resolve potential issues promptly.
- Working closely with overseas offices (e.g., Geneva) on various projects as required.
- Establishing new brokerage and custody relationships and markets as needed.
- Actively participating in the enhancement and optimization of trading execution, booking, and settlement processes.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Middle or Back Office of a financial institution (both profiles will be considered).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point); advanced Excel skills, including VBA, are advantageous.
- Persistent with a positive problem-solving mindset.
- Quick learner with a strong curiosity to understand operational processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- An international background (work and/or study abroad) is preferred.
薪酬： $20,000.00至$22,000.00（每月）
