Position Description
The Assistant Director of Fundraising (Corporate & Foundations) should possess a strong passion for our
vision to see every child in a loving family, and a deep commitment to securing resources that support its
mission.
This role is a newly created strategic position aimed at boosting growth in foundation and grant-derived income,
contributing to the growth of Mother’s Choice’s annual budget across key income streams to ensure the
organization’s continued impact in the future. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management,
and oversight of grant application processes to ensure the NGO's financial sustainability and programmatic
success.
The Assistant Director of Fundraising (Corporate & Foundations) will report to the Director of Fundraising and
will be supported by a Senior Officer of Fundraising (Corporate & Foundations).
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy and Development
1. Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for grants and foundations.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments across services, aligning organizational

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation representatives, family offices, grant

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field; Master’s
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or resource development within
