Clerical Officer I/Clerical Officer II

Duties
  • Coordinate local and overseas outreach activities, such as school talks, campus visits, study tours, visiting programmes, etc.;
  • Provide assistance and support to departmental website, publicity, social media and branding;
  • Assist in updating promotion materials;
  • Organise department events such as conferences/symposiums, seminars and competitions;
  • Provide logistical support for Commencement, Student Orientation Day, JUPAS Consultation Day, etc;
  • Coordinate taught postgraduate programme admissions and events support;
  • Liaise with departments and units within and outside the University; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work flexible hours on a need basis.
Requirements
  • 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 6 years’ working experience;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Being mature, self-motivated and possessing a strong teamwork personality;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details;
  • Ability to work independently and under tight schedules;
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and Power Point); and
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and MS Access would be an advantage.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer II.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
