Demi Chef - Production Kitchen

About the role
  • Carry out daily operation on hot and cold food preparation and cooking under supervision
  • Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and well-stocked with the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Follow established food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the quality of the final products
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards
  • Provide support to the Chefs and other kitchen staff as needed, including carrying out miscellaneous kitchen duties
We are looking for someone who is/has
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in western cuisine
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from Chefs and kitchen supervisors
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, i.e. HACCP
  • Good command in spoken English, other languages would be an asset
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in western cuisine and a willingness to learn and improve culinary skills
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
