Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Market System department and play a role to deliver a new Platform. This team is responsible for planning, providing design and delivering solutions that align with the Market System strategy of the business and the exchange.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities

• Software development of core Exchange trading and market data functionalities
• Provide technical support on mission critical systems for HKEX cash markets systems
• Collaborate across various technology teams to build, deploy and rollout the low latency trading infrastructures
• Responsible for carrying out production support
• Assess technological risk and drive actions for mitigation
• Establish technical excellence and standard following industry best practices
• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience
• Solid skills in Java JDK 11 or latest, Spring, Java Script, React and Redis
• Solid skills in Web application development, Linux application development and network programming
• Solid experience in both front-end and back-end development
• Advantage in In-memory DB and event driven architecture
• Experienced in systems integration, configuration management and environment management
• Experienced in technical testing and deployment is an added advantage
• Good understanding of enterprise server setup and network topology is an added advantage
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, able to deliver the best quality of work on planning, coordination and execution
• Be enthusiastic to make an impact using technology
