Retail Distribution
Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 260 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Head of Distribution Management and Strategy.
Principal responsibilities:
- Ensure infrastructure and resources planning to support the execution of strategic business initiatives within Retail Distribution, in line with Hang Seng Strategy and local Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) business
- Act as a key driver in aligning all business functions including distribution, channels, products, and support functions to meet WPB’s strategic objectives.
- Lead the Distribution Innovation and Experience team to formulate and drive strategies to reshape Branch channel incorporating technology and innovation.
- Formulate and execute resourcing plan, including people hiring and retention strategy. Manage people movement with HR, execute performance and reward plans, manage career progression.
- Formulate service strategy and execution plan to provide market leading branch service and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other channels, e.g. Digital and Call Centre in planning and executing Omni-channel strategies to revamp customer experience at
- Branch and strengthen the Bank’s competitive edge.
- Enhance and/or streamline sales and service journeys, workflow and / or procedures to facilitate front office to provide the best-in-class service to WPB customers.
- Manage effective working relationship with frontline, middle office teams, internal stakeholders, and external parties
- University graduate with a minimum of 15 years of banking and wealth management experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related disciplines
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and growth mindset with seasoned banking and financial services experience.
- Considerable and proven track record in operation management, control design, branch process and workflow ldesign.
- Strong leadership and collaboration to orchestrate business plans and cases working across different business stakeholders and supporting teams at different levels.
- Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities to navigate internal and external contexts, and deal with ambiguities.
- Highly effective influencing and communication skills, ability to clearly document the current state and the recommendations.
- Strong outcome focus with adaptability and accountability in delivery.
- Language proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery
