About the Role
- Manage and provide support on employee lifecycle, compensation & benefits administration, HRIS within HK HR Department
- Perform and execute all payroll functions including monthly payroll, account booking, shares award, tax returns, final payment, MPF and other C&B related matters
- Manage leave records and administration in accordance with the Company's policies
- Manage external vendor for payroll, pension funds, tax, salary surveys, insurances, outplacement services and relocation services
- Support the Annual Insurance Renewal process to ensure talent retention and market competitiveness
- Act as the point of contact of staff for any C&B inquiries
- Support the Annual Compensation Review processes and maintain accurate HR data
- Collaborate with HR partners to provide guidance on salary recommendation and benefits inquiries
- Prepare reports, compensation and benefits metrics for management
- Implement and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and scalability
- Keep close watch of the development of local employment market, legislation and tax requirement in Hong Kong to ensure full legal compliance
- Participate in implementing and up on regional and ad hoc projects

Due to the unique position of Swiss Re in the re/insurance industry we can deploy impactful people solutions, leading the way of human capital changes in the industry. The HR Advisor plays a valuable role in the HK HR team which also comprises, Head HR HK & Korea, HR Partner, and HR Advisors who which provide end to end HR support to the Hong Kong business, leveraging our global HR centers of excellence.
About You
- Strong HR professional who comes with 8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and regulatory requirements
- Adaptability to work in a matrix multicultural/multinational organization and appreciation of cross-functional cooperation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to create rapport with and build strong ongoing relationships
- Proactive, organized, detail-oriented and hands-on with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work to agreed timelines
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, HRIS systems)
