This 6-month Full-Time Internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Hong Kong Haedquarter for Global Sourcing business.

About the Global Logistics Team:

Our Global Logistics team is responsible for creating end-to-end visibility and reporting, driving data quality improvements with our service providers, manage end-2-end inbound logistics processes, project Management and continuous improvement for the adidas global logistics network, with a very broad and diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Objectives & Opportunity:

Gain insights into the entire logistics process and improve data quality and reporting.

Enhance skills in data analysis, project administration, and using tools like Power BI, to build new concepts to improve the current global logistics set up.

Work with diverse stakeholders, experiencing different cultures and operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Global logistics operation project initiatives which include data analysis, project administration, etc.
Co-operate with internal and external stakeholders to run a new concept of the logistics project, e.g Logistics Service Provider (LSP), local market inbound team and local operation team to experience the different culture.
Track and trace the project status and support on data simulation.
Support on the Power BI dashboard/system/ data maintenance.
Prepare Power Point documentation related to this new project.
To support Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) update regarding this project.

Key Working Relationships:

Global Logistics Team in the different regions, as well as Sourcing, Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, and Global Logistics Service Provider & Carrier.

Requirement:

Student in progress of undergraduate or master degree program. Preferably major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Strong in analytics skill, capable to work with massive data.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
Experienced in Power BI is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skill and collaborative mindset to work partnership across functions and locations.
Fluency in verbal and written communication in English; Mandarin. Cantonese or other languages is a plus.
Readiness to start the Full Time Internship in Jan 2025 with 6 months duration.
