Logistic Executive, Transport, Trade & Compliance (Fresh graduate welcome)

Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining a high level of compliance with import, customs and export rules and trade regulations. He / she will also participate to manage logistics service provider, obtain transport rate and handle transport related issues with internal associate. This role will be the junior subject matter expert and advisor regarding compliant import / export of goods and transport related issue. He / she will participate in regional projects related to customs, trade compliance transport. He / she will assist the regional function to enrich trade & compliance and transport related knowledge in Asia.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for in-depth understanding of Import and Export regulation for relevant Asian Pacific markets, in particular to hi-tech and consumer products industries.
  • Work with all stakeholders to implement appropriate internal trade compliance processes and procedures to comply with all applicable import/export and customs regulations
  • Work with different logistics service providers (LSPs) to ensure existing transport rate is competitive in the market and tender freight and logistics service to LSPs to support client requests and internal initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of trade compliance training materials to key functional stakeholders within the region. Coordinate and maintain a central database of compliance-related data, licenses, and other required documentation
  • Keep abreast of new regulations and programs that may impact business and communicate these to the business owners to take the appropriate actions or make decisions
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma related to Logistics / Shipping
  • 1-2 years’ experience in import/export operations, customs and trade consulting, shipping, international business, freight management of other related field in Asia\
  • Experience in International Trade, International Business, Supply Chain or other related field.
  • Knowledge in hi-tech, consumer product industries and e-Commerce in Asia is advantageous
