My client is a global logistics company, and they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team in Hong Kong. The role will mainly support the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in the accounting system.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly account reconciliations.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and adjustments.
Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation for auditors.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights.
Maintain organized financial files and documentation for easy retrieval.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or similar).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
