Key Responsibilities

Assist to supervise a small team in performing portfolio valuation, NAV prices computation, investment order placement, daily reconciliation, investigation of discrepancies and other fund administration tasks on a daily basis

Check valuation reports and other fund administration tasks to ensure that they are correctly and timely prepared

Supervise and coach the team in monitoring liquidity management and payment handling to ensure sufficient funding is available for the concerned schemes and funds

Maintain a high degree of accuracy and consistency in preparation of daily reporting and ensure that the pricing/valuation processes are adhered to and service standards are met

Support the preparation of annual financial statements, review draft audit accounts and resolve audit issues

Deal with issues and queries from clients in a professional and timely manner

Follow and perform control as specified in the Procedure Manual and ensure compliance with all relevant work processes. Prompt escalation to Team Head or Department Head for any issues identified

Exercise strong risk alertness and supervise team members to ensure they always comply with applicable regulations and the Company’s policies and procedures

Participate in UAT of any new system enhancement prior to production

Participate in tasks or projects as assigned by superiors or Department Head from time to time while taking ownership and accountability

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund accounting and administration, with substantial experience in regulated mutual funds / MPF / ORSO schemes operations

Degree holder in accountancy or Diploma in Business related discipline. For candidates with academic background below degree, strong and relevant experience in fund administration industry must be demonstrated

Minimum 6 years’ work experience in fund accounting and administration, with substantial experience in regulated mutual funds / MPF / ORSO schemes operations

Proficient knowledge about liquidity management is an advantage

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Be flexible, self-motivated, organized and forward-thinking

Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Can work under pressure

Strong adaptability to changes

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
