Manager/ Assistant Manager, International Brokers, General Insurance

Major Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for new business development and monitor the retention of renewal business in General Insurance segment
- Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and explore new business opportunities
- Assist in executing marketing strategies and business plans for achieving business targets
- Support the team to drive business strategies and ensure that strategies are monitored and executed
- Ensure compliance expectations are fully met
- Provide responses and daily service to insurance intermediaries within the service standard
- Implement prudent underwriting practice under authority limit, in line with company’s underwriting philosophies
- Underwriting support and provision of local market and risk knowledge to the cluster underwriting team
- Perform underwriting assessment on new and renewal business
- Align the underwriting profit in accordance with the business plan
- Ad hoc project as required
Your Profile
-
Associate Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies - Possessing or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in GI – Commercial Lines products
- Proactive & able to work independently
- Able to work in fast paced environment independently, strong sense of responsibility, detailed minded, sound judgement, good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
- Well versed in Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel & Power Point
