Manager (Major Giving)

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation
dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic
illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society. We
are a non-governmental organization receiving subvention from government and funds from private

Manager (Major Giving)

Our Headquarter located in Lam Tin Complex will be undergoing a major redevelopment to transform
into an inclusive complex for provision of healthy aging and holistic care to the Hong Kong community.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and implement initiatives for resource development and solicitation for the capital
redevelopment project
Engage and relationship building amongst major givers, philanthropic organizations, private or
corporate foundations
Develop public engagement strategy and campaigns to elevate awareness of the redevelopment
with its novel services for the community
Device monthly donation strategy for recurrent funding
Support governance and project committee to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals
Monitor the financial status on resource development performance and progress
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ business / communications /journalism or related disciplines.
Minimum 7 years of experience in sizeable NGOs with experience in major giving and monthly
donation drive preferred.
Knowledge of networking and handling of major givers and trust & foundations
Knowledge of monthly giving strategy and their effectiveness
Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English. Putonghua will be an added advantage.
Good proposal writing and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must have patience and with the ability to
understand and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
A positive and problem-solving person with self-initiative, detailed-minded, highly adaptive and
flexible
Able to work independently and under pressure when multi-tasked.
