Invitations for the Provision of Marking and Oral Examination Services

Markers
The service providers shall perform the role of a Marker for the 2025 HKDSE
Examination. The marking period will fall between April and June 2025. Applicants
should be serving teachers or suitably qualified persons for the subject and level for
which they apply. The criteria for the selection include the applicant’s academic
qualifications, subject panel chairpersonship, and relevant teaching and marking
experience. Experienced markers with strong subject knowledge background,
leadership and interpersonal skills may be appointed as assistant examiners.

Oral Examiners (English Language)
The service providers shall perform the role of an Oral Examiner for the 2025 oral
examinations of the HKDSE English Language. Applicants should be serving teachers
or suitably qualified persons for the subject and level for which they apply. The criteria
for the selection include the applicant’s academic qualifications, subject panel
chairpersonship, and relevant teaching and oral examination experience. Applicants
may be required to attend a selection interview.

Application Procedure:
Applications should be submitted online via the Examination Personnel Online System
(http://epo.hkeaa.edu.hk).
(1) School Teachers have to apply via their schools’ accounts. Account details have
already been sent to schools.
(2) Eligible applicants who are not in-service school teachers may apply using the

Note: Successful applicants will provide the services described above as an independent
contractor of the HKEAA. Nothing in the provision of the above service shall constitute
or be deemed to constitute an employment relationship between the successful applicant
and the Authority.
