Job Description:
- To teach Kindergarten, Nursery and Playgroup classes of children from ages 10 months to 6 years old;
- To plan, write and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that further enhance children's development;
- To foster good relationships between parents, children and teachers;
- To collaborate and provide professional support with other teachers to facilitate children's learning and contribute to school development;
- To prepare environmental settings for children's learning and development;
- To write reports and portfolios for evaluation and assessment;
- Being logical and organised, the candidate should be able to observe individual child's learning progress and carry out personalised learning based on each child's individual needs;
- To perform any other professional duties required by the School Principal.
- Working days, 5.5 days (Monday to Friday and Saturday for the coordination of the playgroups and extra-curricular activities).
- Native English Speaker;
- Degree/Qualification for teaching. Preferably Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology and Education;
- Qualified Kindergarten Teacher, Qualified Child Care Worker would be an asset;
- Prior working experience in Nursery and kindergarten;
- Familiarity with curriculum planning, lesson planning and organisation of documentation;
- Flexible, adaptive, highly proactive;
- Passion for Early Childhood Education, loving and caring attitude towards families and children;
- Good communication and social skills with all stakeholders at school;
- Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach would be an asset.
