Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer

Subject Areas:

(i)
Business Law

(ii)
Digital Marketing Basics

(iii)
Digital Media Production

(iv)
Social Media Marketing


Major Duties:

(a)
To perform teaching duties in the above-mentioned subject areas, including preparation and delivery of teaching materials, supervision of students’ projects and other academic activities;

(b)
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; and

(c)
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials.


Requirements:

(a)
A recognised degree in relevant subject area(s), preferably with a relevant post-graduate qualification;

(b)
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / industry experience;

(c)
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese;

(d)
A good team player with a proactive attitude; and

(e)
Specific Requirements for (i) and (iii) Subject Areas:

For Business Law:
Preferably with solid experience in the field of e-commerce, trade descriptions, food safety and public health, nutrition and energy efficiency, competition law, global business operations, international sales law and all related conventions or equivalent

For Digital Media Production:
Preferably with solid experience in the field of digital media, video production & livestreaming for event / innovative media technology / innovative technologies & applications in E-Commerce / digital media production


Notes:

(1)
Applicant(s) with less experience may be considered for the post of “Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer” at the rank of Teaching Associate.

(2)
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment.

(3)
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different IVE campuses.
