Our client is a leading financial institution and is looking for an (Senior) Associate (5+ to 8+ years' experience) to join the Investment Team in Hong Kong to support the analysis, structuring and execution of the investment pipeline. The candidate will be given broad exposure to lead and support the analysis, diligence, presentation and execution of investment themes and live deals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with detailed buy-side financial analysis including company/asset analysis, industry analysis, economic analysis and financial modelling.
Prepare investment memos for presentation to Business Head and Investment Committee
Present investment opportunities to the team and business head

Required competencies:

Strong analytical and critical mindset
Strong experience in financial modelling
Experience in financial statement analysis and conducting detailed bottom-up due diligence
Dynamic and open-minded, able to quantify and price risk holistically across a broad range of asset classes, sectors and capital structures
Sound intuition and business judgement, as well as strong communication skills (ability to present ideas clearly and concisely)
Strong work ethic and a self-motivated, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
