Programme Officer - Research (Ref: 240001M4)

Description

Liaise with stakeholders to support planning, development, management and administrative duties for the Research Funding Scheme
Provide administrative and secretarial support for engaging external reviewers on research funding application vetting and project outcome evaluation
Liaise with the Research Offices of Universities on project management and financial reporting, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders in the negotiation and maintenance of Project Agreements
Advise and support partnering researchers in their applications and project management
Support planning and organisation of research seminars, workshops and relevant events
Update and maintain the contents of the Academy webpage on research
Provide executive and secretarial support to the relevant committees and working groups

Qualifications

Degree in a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ working experience, preferably with relevant experience in higher education sector and/or research funding body
Highly motivated with strong initiative, willingness to take on new tasks
Good attention to details, ability to work independently and as a good team player
Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
