Programme Officer - Research (Ref: 240001M4)

Description

• Liaise with stakeholders to support planning, development, management and administrative duties for the Research Funding Scheme
• Provide administrative and secretarial support for engaging external reviewers on research funding application vetting and project outcome evaluation
• Liaise with the Research Offices of Universities on project management and financial reporting, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders in the negotiation and maintenance of Project Agreements
• Advise and support partnering researchers in their applications and project management
• Support planning and organisation of research seminars, workshops and relevant events
• Update and maintain the contents of the Academy webpage on research
• Provide executive and secretarial support to the relevant committees and working groups

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ working experience, preferably with relevant experience in higher education sector and/or research funding body
• Highly motivated with strong initiative, willingness to take on new tasks
• Good attention to details, ability to work independently and as a good team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
