Project Title: Longevity Research Cluster – Building Up Integrative Brain and Cognitive
Reserve of Middle-Aged and Young Old Adults


[Appointment Period: 12 months]

The appointee will be responsible for supporting research projects. He/she will be responsible for
assisting in the works of research projects relating to physical activity in older adults, developing
research materials, conducting literature review, assisting in the coordination and administrative work
of the project, supporting data collection and data analysis, writing papers/ reports, and performing
any other duties assigned by the Project Leader or his/her delegate(s). The initial appointment will be
for a period of 12 months.

For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology,
Physical Education, sports science or related fields, or related disciplines. Experience in multi-
method such as behavioral and neuroscience in research or in physical activity intervention in
middle-aged and older adults are advantages. For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should
have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English
Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including
Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. They should also have a
good command of written Chinese and English, a good command of Cantonese, as well as be
conversant in English; have good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
