Project Title: A longitudinal investigation of the relationship between persistent overweight and
depression risk in adolescence: do ADHD symptoms matter?

[Appointment Period: 7 months]

The appointee will be involved in a research project focused on the physical and mental well-being of
children and adolescents. This project is being conducted in collaboration with researchers from the
University of Hong Kong. Responsibilities will include participant recruitment, data collection,
literature review, development of promotional materials, academic publications, reports, and other
tasks as delegated. The appointment will commence as soon as possible, with the potential for
extension to a full-time role contingent upon satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, food and nutritional
sciences, or a related field, or be a final-year undergraduate student in one of these disciplines. The
appointee should have a good command of written English and spoken Cantonese, proficiency in
Microsoft Office applications. Good organization and communication skills are essential. Knowledge
of statistics would be advantageous. He/she should be attentive to details, responsible, and able to
work well both independently and in groups.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
