Senior Accounting Officer / Accounting Officer

Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Team
- Perform a wide range of accounting duties independently and report directly to the Accounting Manager
- Issue debit notes for tuition fees, hostel fees and other expenses to students, and monitor outstanding balances
- Update receipts from various collection methods to ensure accurate reflection of all bank transactions
- Handle inquiries from students and other departments properly and promptly
- Prepare various year-end reports to facilitate statutory audits and assist the supervisor in preparing tuition and hostel income budgets
- Supervise and provide guidance to the subordinates
- Assist the supervisor in system enhancements and process improvements
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- A recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Accounting or related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant with professional qualification of HKICPA or equivalent is preferred
- Relevant experience in managing accounts receivables and preparing analyses
- Applicants with knowledge of accounting systems enhancement and process improvement are preferred
- A good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Immediate Available is an advantage
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
