Senior Officer – Examinations Administration

The appointee will be responsible to support the revamp of the system for processing the
special examination arrangements for candidates with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the
HKDSE by collecting user requirements, reviewing project documents according to the
implementation roadmap; and participating in the development and testing of the system. The
appointee will also assist in compiling handbooks and user manuals, liaison with stakeholders (e.g.
schools, candidates, examination personnel and technicians) and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
He/she will also provide support on the planning and conduct of the HKDSE in the Greater Bay
Area including liaison with schools on examination logistics, operation and invigilation
arrangements, processing examination irregularities and handling enquiries.

Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline;
(b) At least 6 years’ relevant experience or 5 years’ relevant experience at supervisory level in
education-related sectors; work experience in the Greater Bay Area is preferred;
(c) Able to travel to and stay in the Greater Bay Area at short notice, when necessary and
station in the Greater Bay Area during the live examination periods;
(d) Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(f) Sound management and supervisory skills; and
(g) Knowledge of examination operation and procedures.

Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF
benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts
subject to performance and staffing needs.
