Senior Officer – Information Technology (Project Management)

The incumbent will report to team manager and lead a small team of PMs to assist in
delivering digital transformation projects in the Authority, including:
(a) Assist in establishing the Project Management Office (PMO);
(b) Engage in daily operational activities in the PMO and undertake project manager role in
some key projects;
(c) Review, implement and enforce PM framework and best practice in IT Projects;
(d) Oversee project lifecycle and gatekeep the project quality; and
(e) Assist in supporting the procurement process and contract management.

Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project
Management or related disciplines;
(b) At least 6 years’ working experience with minimum of 3 years’ PM experience, especially
in IT security/infrastructure projects and/or PMO function;
(c) Proficiency in implementing and using project management tools and software;
(d) PMP certified is a must, holding of professional certificates in SCRUM, ITIL, CISSP or
equivalent is an advantage;
(e) Working with can-do attitude, detail minded, self-motivated and agility;
(f) Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving and people management skills;
(g) Good communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English; and
(h) Candidate with less experience will also be considered.

Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF
benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts
subject to performance and staffing needs.
