Senior Research Assistant in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530294)

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate research activities for Cardiology Division
Conduct clinical trials
Collect medical data, contact patients and handle clinical specimen
Provide support to clinical investigators and researchers
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

A Master’s degree or above, preferably in Medical Science, Biology or related fields, with at least 1 year's post-qualification experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience
a strong sense of responsibility
good communication and collaboration skills
an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)

What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
