Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 530280)
We now invite applications for the captioned post.

Duties and Responsibilities

work on impactful epidemiology and/or health economics projects involving medication safety, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, decision analytics and AI-driven health technology assessment
provide statistical support on multiple research themes in autoimmune diseases, cardiology, psychiatry, oncology and infectious diseases
assist in drafting project report and lead original research article submission
work with a diverse and dynamic team
perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

a Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Data Science or a related field, with at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience in Pharmacoepidemiology and/or Pharmacoeconomics
excellent quantitative and analytic skills
strong communication and writing skills
detail-oriented
able to work independently as well as in a team
experience in the management of large data sets and complex analyses using R, Python or other statistical tools would be advantageous
those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I

What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
