Senior Vice President (Creative Industries)(Ref: ISO/04/2024)

(b) Good business network in the creative industries/ media and entertainment sectors and exposure to Mainland and international operations and business environment would be an advantage;
(c) Knowledge of the media, entertainment and sport related ecosystem and business climate in Hong Kong and Asia as well as expertise in project management, investment/ trade promotion, event management, marketing communications, blockchain/ web3 development would be an advantage;
(d) A Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing or management-related subjects; a higher degree and/ or professional qualifications in related discipline would be an advantage;
(e) Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills; and
(f) A good command of both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English. Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.
You will need to demonstrate:
(a) a good understanding of the creative industries, in particular in the sectors of media, entertainment and sports (eg. media, video, film, music, publishing, sports, events management etc.);
(b) proven track record in business development, business matching and account servicing;
(c) relevant capability in implementing promotional or outreach activities;
(d) strong project management and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
(e) capability in developing marketing materials and presentations, good presentation and public speaking skills and
(f) excellent English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
Duties
(a) To provide one-stop business facilitation services and tailor-made support to enterprises setting up/ expanding their operations in Hong Kong with a focus on media and entertainment related sectors;
(b) To actively research and identify potential overseas investors from desktop research, software databases, media monitoring and attendance at networking events, trade fairs and other activities and to follow up and establish contact with these leads;
(c) To work with Invest HK’s Mainland and overseas network, relevant government bureaux and departments, industry stakeholders and other industry associations to coordinate investment promotion and marketing activities to attract and retain companies in the creative industries;
(d) To coordinate and further expand the business matching, networking and other marketing efforts in the team;
(e) To prepare sales messages, presentations, marketing materials and support on project co-ordination, logistic arrangements, marketing and event management;
(f) To assist in receiving delegations/ senior executives and implementing visit programmes for Mainland/ overseas visitors;
(g) To support Head of Creative Industries in investment promotion works and related duties, and
(h) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
(b) Applicant appointed will be granted 14 days of annual leave and the entitlement of annual leave will be calculated on pro-rata basis for appointment less than 12 months. Other benefits, such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/ paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

If a disabled applicant meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/ written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting. Applicants who have declared disabilities found suitable for appointment may be given an appropriate degree of preference over other applicants whose suitability for appointment is considered comparable to that of the former. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
