Application Engineering department is responsible for defining and implementing the application framework for other application teams in the Information Technology Division. This include Software Development Kits (SDK), Development Guidelines and GUI standard; this also include platform applications, e.g. identity provider (Id P) and managed file transfer (MFT) providing common function across different business applications.

• Responsible for software development systems in Application Engineering department
• Perform quality assurance functions including unit and system tests, collaborate with other IT teams and user departments for systems and user acceptance tests
• Produce project deliverables such as technical specifications and test documentations
• Provide production support including out of working hour support responsibility
• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

• Solid skills in either C/C++, Java, web and network programming
• Strong software development experience of large scale systems
• Understanding of messaging, managed file transfer, authentication/authorization technology and related products/protocol e.g. Kafka, Active MQ, Forgerock, Keycloak, SAML, oauth, MTLS
• Good understanding of Dev Ops tools and practices
• Experience in Financial Service sector is an added advantage
• Experience in public cloud technology is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
