Role Introduction

Reports To: Head of Transformation Advisory
A member of team of professionals working with business units across the group by advising, mentoring, teaching and providing support to shaping mindsets and applying methods to bring about relentless improvement and awareness of the financial impact of processes and decisions.

These methods and practices include team and enterprise level Agile; Lean; Six Sigma; Process Mapping; Portfolio Management (LPM); Project Management; and Change Management. The mindsets include the behaviours and beliefs from a growth mindset, servant leadership, and the agile values are needed to use these practices.

This person brings passion to learn and energy to apply a practical working understanding one or more of the above practices with an expert in-depth knowledge in at least one practice.

Depending on the need from the business, this person may play the role of advisor, analyst, coach, change agent, facilitator, scrum master, project manager, change manager, or run a project / portfolio management office.
Key Responsibilities

Depending practice or methodology knowledge the roles will include:

• Define and oversee the Portfolio Management process to ensure that the portfolio aligns with the company’s strategic goals and value delivery
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement of Project Management practice, tools and templates
• Provide guidance and support to Project Managers and Project Teams base our Project Delivery Lifecycle
• Support different business units in running Projects or Portfolio Management Offices (PMO)
• Assist Change Managers working with business to develop and implement change plans
• Support other practices such as Lean or Agile as required

Training and Learning

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs based on PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and Portfolio Management Standards
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance participants’ knowledge of project management and portfolio management
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics

Development

• Work with the Heads of Transformation Advisory to develop the relevant practice’s: tools, templates, standards and strategy
• Support innovation and development of tools and solutions used by the various practices.

Requirements

• Preferably holds a Bachelor degree or above and/or certification in the relevant practice, including: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Scrum Master, PSM or CSM; SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Change Management Professional, Prosci Change Management, Project Management Professional (PMP or PRINCE2)
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in large-scale projects. A mix of consulting and in-house experience will be an advantage.
• Demonstrate a track record of project delivery with visible benefits possibly in different industries
• Experienced in training, mentoring and coaching
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyze large amounts of data in order to extract relevant information and identify patterns
• Self-motivated, active listener, able to share ideas, takes initiative to solve problems proactively and is willing to give extra effort to get the job done
• Strong change agent with good interpersonal skill able to influence without authority
• Mobile and willing to work outside of your comfort zone
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Cantonese or Mandarin will be an advantage
