Corvinus University of Budapest has over a 100-year-old history and is one of the leading universities in Hungary in Management, Economics, and Social Sciences.
We have around 11,500 students, of which, approximately 2,000 are international.

We are looking for a Head of Institutional Communications Team Leader for a full-time position
(40 hours/week) to join the Communications, reporting to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO)
at the Corvinus University of Budapest.

We are looking for a Head of Institutional Communications Team Leader for a full-time position
(40 hours/week) to join the Communications, reporting to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO)
at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
About the role:
• Media Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Hungarian media.
- Collaborate with the CCO to establish and nurture international media relationships.
- Manage media outreach and content creation across multiple channels.
- Communication Strategy:
- Implement effective internal and external communication strategies.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Write speeches and prepare background materials for key stakeholders.
- Organize press conferences, interviews, and other media events.
- Crisis Management:
- Lead crisis communication efforts with resilience and strategic planning.
- Provide timely and effective communication during high-pressure situations.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders to align communication objectives.
- Oversee cross-functional project management initiatives.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team, including overseeing event managers.
Elvárások
What we are looking for:
• University degree
- At least 5-8 years in managing institutional or corporate communications.
- Proven experience in change management and crisis communications.
- Strong media relations within Hungarian media.
- Ability to establish international media relationships in cooperation with the CCO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Strong resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and cross-functional project leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
