IT Project Manager

About the Job
You will oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and completion of technology projects within Allianz Technology and its Customer (mainly with the Hungarian OE). This role involves managing resources, schedules, financials, and adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle.
You will also be responsible for managing project issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. You will oversee, create and manage the initiatives to be a proactive value centre (e.g. delivering concepts, opportunities and possible future opportunities for the Customer)
What you do
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continuously manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Assign / manage tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Facilitation of meetings, events with customers and representatives
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on project deliverables.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining meticulous, detailed documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across the project.
- Support the transformation of the IT portfolio by being responsible for local, regional, global initiate implementation of S2V strategy
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or infrastructure elements (virtualization, virtual client)
- Advanced English is a must (both written and speaking), must be able to lead / facilitate meetings, discussions, alignments in English
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- This role may require occasional travel.
