We are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst (Finance and Operations)
for onsite work at a major bank.

What your job will be

• You will be an active participant in one of the most exciting and important projects of the bank focusing on loyalty renewal.
• You will mainly work in Finance & Operations squad, focusing firstly on Business Case finalization in line with strategic objectives and business goals; also on target setting and controlling frame definition.
• Secondly you will work on clearing&settlement model, including accounting and taxation framework finalization.
• Later on wou will be responsible for reporting and analytics.
• You are going to work with various business areas, strategy, controlling, accounting, taxation, legal and other functional departments, or group members, as well as with external consultants where you will be required to take part in discussions.
• You will report to the Business Lead of the Loyalty Program Team. You will have access to interns to support your work.

You are the ideal candidate, if you

• Have advanced degree in economincs
• Are a professional with 3-4 years of analysis experience
• Have advanced Excel skills (statements, formulas, MS Query)
• Have good analytical and strong information processing skills
• Are result- and detail oriented
• Are humble and you share our passion for building and executing new initiatives
• Exhibit a high degree of ownership in your tasks conducted
• Have a relentless inner drive and a high work ethic
• Are fluent in Hungarian and English

Advantages

• Knowledge of relational database management (SQL or MS Access) and Power BI
• You have a profound understanding of loyalty metrics and analytics drivers to create sales and customer experience pathways
• Experience in creating business cases, models to quantify loyalty segments and rewarding scenarios
• Experience in banking industry

Location: 13th district, Budapest (Hungary); 3 days onsite + 2 day HO per week
