This role is responsible for supplier quality.


Job Title:
Assistant Manager - Supplier Quality


Job responsibilities:

• Review and approval of supplier FAIR Per AS9102 .
  
• Review and approval of PPAP packages to AS9145 requirements.
  
• Perform investigations and actions to resolve field problems and track customer complaints.
  
• Regularly Visit Suppliers and Drive APQP at supplier Locations
  
• Perform Quality analysis (RRCA, Fish bone, 5 Why etc..) and must have demonstrated effective implementation.
  
• Review Requirements and Ensure compliance special processes, NADCAP requirements and regulatory requirements.
  
• Collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders to achieve Project objectives and deliverables. Participate and lead team activities in continuous improvement, problem solving, Lean, Six Sigma projects, etc.
  
• Shall Establish meaningful Relationship with Suppliers, Build Rapport and should have influencing Ability. Strengthen Supplier's Quality DQRs
  
• Candidate shall have Excellent Communication Skills and Logical reasoning Ability.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering
  
• 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in Aerospace domain or Automobile Relevant certifications such as AS9102 FAI signatory and PPAP signatory
  
• Hands on experience in tools such as Net Inspect, Teamcenter Experience in supporting manufacturing sites.
  
• Hands on experience in process planning, Inspection plans, PFMEA, Control Plan and Gauge R&R.
  
• Hands on Experience in FAI review and Approval. Awareness and experience on APQP
  
• Expertise in understanding Engineering drawings and GD&T callouts
  
• Experience in demonstrating manufacturability of Metallic & Composite components, Electronics and assemblies.
  
• Experience in review and approval of Collins Aerospace supplier FAIR of composite, forging, Electronics and sheet metal commodity in addition to machining. Both Detail and Assembly Parts
  
• Experienced with Stack-up analysis for large assemblies.
