Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends.
  • Analyze business performance and industry trends to develop new business strategies.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities and potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other means.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects to ensure consistent business growth.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and increase market share.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability and long-term business relationships.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to ensure offerings align with market demands.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development efforts.
  • Document client interactions, sales progress, and contract details for future reference.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Participate in the development of business strategies and planning processes.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and new markets.
  • Training and Development:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior sales staff or new team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales principles, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
