Description: Seeking an experienced Commercial Lead HVAC installer looking to grow and build upon their existing skills
Responsibilities:
- Furnace and A/C Installation
- Rooftop & MAU Installation
- Duct Installation
- Exhaust fans and louver installation
- Radiant heaters
- Gas and water piping
- Ability to ensure that paperwork for each job is accurate
- Read and understand project prints
- Understanding of commercial construction safety and ladder safety, proper usage of ladders
- The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools
- Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain PPE-hard hat, safety glasses, protective toe boots, and high visibility outdoor work attire
- Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment
- Ability to maintain the cleanliness of company vehicle
- Proficient in duct system and equipment installation best practices and methods
- Understanding of mechanical codes
- Ability to partner and coordinate with other trades on-site
- Material ordering and job sequence understanding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of full-start ups of different types of equipment
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems is a plus
- Ability to mentor and guide apprentices
- At least 2+ years’ experience as a commercial lead
- Flexibility with schedule during high volume times, ability to work M-F 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional weekend hours
- Acceptable DMV report
- Ability to complete pre-employment drug screen
- OSHA 10 is a plus
