Commercial Lead HVAC Installer

Description: Seeking an experienced Commercial Lead HVAC installer looking to grow and build upon their existing skills
Responsibilities:

Furnace and A/C Installation
Rooftop & MAU Installation
Duct Installation
Exhaust fans and louver installation
Radiant heaters
Gas and water piping
Ability to ensure that paperwork for each job is accurate
Read and understand project prints
Understanding of commercial construction safety and ladder safety, proper usage of ladders
The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools
Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
Ability to maintain PPE-hard hat, safety glasses, protective toe boots, and high visibility outdoor work attire
Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment
Ability to maintain the cleanliness of company vehicle

Qualifications:

Proficient in duct system and equipment installation best practices and methods
Understanding of mechanical codes
Ability to partner and coordinate with other trades on-site
Material ordering and job sequence understanding
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of full-start ups of different types of equipment
Knowledge of Building Management Systems is a plus
Ability to mentor and guide apprentices

Requirements:

At least 2+ years’ experience as a commercial lead
Flexibility with schedule during high volume times, ability to work M-F 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional weekend hours
Acceptable DMV report
Ability to complete pre-employment drug screen
OSHA 10 is a plus
