Overview:The Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is part of Pepsi Co’s Strategy and Transformation Capabilities group, responsible for developing, deploying and supporting a broad range of workplace technology solutions to provide a great employee experience for Pepsico associates worldwide. GWS solutions include communication and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Share Point, end-user computing hardware like laptops, phones, tablets, and VR/AR headsets, in-room video conferencing solutions, voice solutions, digital signage solutions, and global help desk platforms to provide world-class technical support to our associates.

GWS also works closely with Pepsi Co’s Global Real Estate and Global Security functions to ensure new office spaces and industrial spaces are built with enterprise standard technology and security solutions, and to support the set of applications used by these 2 functions to manage Pepsi Co’s global portfolio of over 3,900 locations worldwide.

The Deputy Director of Workplace Technology Infrastructure will work closely with Real Estate and Security leadership in Asia, Middle East, and Africa to establish and communicate technology scope and requirements for new office construction projects, to understand the unique needs of Pepsi Co tenants both now and in the future, to help design new / enhanced solutions where necessary, and to manage application support teams that provide operational support globally for a subset of GWS solutions.
Responsibilities:

Act as liaison and a point of escalation for Pepsi Co Global Real Estate and Global Security leaders in the region by establishing and maintaining productive relationships with these leaders
Establish and document global workplace technology standards by working with customer stakeholders, peers in the S&T Capabilities group, and 3rd party vendors, and communicate these standards to local technology delivery teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards in the region
Field requests for new workplace capabilities and work with other S&T Capabilities teams to build globally supportable solutions that meet these requirements
Manage a team of India-based contractors that provides global operational support for a set of Real Estate and Security applications
Manage 3rd party vendors that provide Saa S and Paa S applications, including escalation of incidents, new feature requests, and integrations with Pepsi Co systems

Qualifications:We need a leader with strong communications and organizational skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. The successful candidate should have

5+ years experience managing IT projects, especially those involving workplace technology and large distributed teams
5+ years experience managing application support teams
3+ years in an IT Lead / Business Relationship Management or similar ‘customer-facing’ role responsible for interfacing with business leaders to define scope and requirements, and to escalate critical issues
Broad familiarity with workplace technologies, Information Security standards and practices, network and cloud technologies and topologies, and IT Infrastructure
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, honed through years of collaboration with diverse stakeholders and vendors
Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, with a track record of guiding teams to achieve strategic goals and fostering a collaborative team environment
