Senior Business Development Manager - XR

Jio Tesseract, a digital arm of Reliance Industries, is India's leading and largest AR/VR organization with the mission to democratize mixed reality for India and the world. We make products at the cross of hardware, software, content and services with focus on making India the leader in spatial computing. We specialize in creating solutions in AR, VR and AI, with some of our notable products such as Jio Glass, Jio Dive, 360 Streaming, Metaverse, AR/VR headsets for consumers and enterprise space.

About the Job

As a Business Development Manager you will drive business growth and manage relationships with large enterprise clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and closing high-value deals with enterprise organizations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Business Growth and Opportunity Identification
    • Identify and target new business opportunities within the enterprise sector.
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new enterprise clients and expand existing accounts.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within enterprise organizations.
    • Understand client requirements and challenges to provide tailored solutions and value propositions.
    • Manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and business goals.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate and close high-value contracts and agreements with enterprise clients.

  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions and services.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and client onboarding.
    • Share market insights and feedback with relevant teams to drive product and service improvements.

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics.
    • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and outcome

  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
    • Leverage industry knowledge to position the company as a leader and innovator in the market.

  • Contract Management and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all client interactions and agreements.
    • Manage contract negotiations and ensure that terms and conditions align with company objectives and standards.
    • Address any contractual or compliance issues that arise during the sales process.

What We Need To See

  • Experience in business development or enterprise sales, with a proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts and closing high-value deals.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and client relationship management.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Sales Skills: Expertise in identifying business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with enterprise clients.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • CRM Tools: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
