Specialist Cybersecurity - ServiceNow Developer

- Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and support of all aspects of the Service Now platform, specifically to address security requirements and enhance our organization's security posture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience in designing and implementing Service Now Sec Ops solutions, including automation of security processes.
- Develop and maintain Service Now workflows, forms, scripts, and integrations to automate security processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide support for software coding and customization including, but not limited to: user interfaces, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development.
- Update and maintain a comprehensive testing suite to support out of the box (OOTB) as well as custom applications with the purpose of regression testing.
- Maintain interfaces for external integrations leveraging Service Now’s Integration Hub, REST and other standard integration protocols.
- Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues related to data ingestion and external integration
- Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to create sustainable solutions in Service Now.
- Answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions.
- Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting of Service Now Sec Ops solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Service Now Sec Ops development, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance our security operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional
- Strong background in Service Now development, security operations, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends
- Solid understanding of security operations and best practices, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
