Management Performance Hub:

The Management Performance Hub (MPH) provides analytics solutions tailored to address complex management and policy questions enabling improved outcomes for Hoosiers. We partner with state agencies to leverage data in innovative ways to facilitate data-driven decision-making and data-informed policymaking.


Role Overview
:

The Windows Systems Administrator Associate supports existing applications that function and run on various Windows operating Systems. You will strategize and implement new solutions utilizing Windows to meet needs that empower state agencies to better serve their customers. You will also install, manage, and ensure the security of Windows patches and upgrades.


Salary Statement
:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $55,224.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
  • You will assist with configuring, maintaining and supporting several technologies.
  • You will be responsible for the implementation and completion of small projects.
  • You will troubleshoot technical issues.
  • You will be responsible for interacting with the various internal teams and end users to resolve reported issues via the ticketing system.
  • You will provide moderate level support of application and software that interface with the Indiana Office of Technology and their customers.
  • You will assist with information system upgrades including planning, testing and documenting the process Performs workstation and server administration setup.
  • You will monitor and maintain continuity with software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • You will provide suggestions regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting to higher-level staff.
  • You will maintain production change control schedule and participate in change control.
  • You will work with Information Technology staff to assist in developing problem solutions and/or software and hardware enhancements.

What You'll Need for Success:
You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology paired with a minimum of a year of experience.
  • Experience with supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Experience in server application administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, firewall configuration, and VPN.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
  • Knowledge of Change Control and security concepts.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information to technical and non-technical staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
