Director of Food Business (F&B)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the food and beverage department to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with senior management to align F&B strategies with overall business goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Oversee menu development, including planning, pricing, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
- Develop and manage budgets for the F&B department, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage inventory to optimize costs and quality.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the F&B team to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance goals.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing feedback, resolving complaints, and continuously improving service standards.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere in all F&B outlets.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure consistent product and service excellence.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and special events.
- Monitor and analyze marketing efforts to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu development, and service standards.
