Food Hygiene and Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Food Safety Systems: Design, implement, and maintain robust food safety management systems, including HACCP plans, to ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
- Conduct Regular Inspections and Audits: Perform comprehensive inspections and audits of all kitchens, storage areas, and food handling processes to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Train and Educate Staff: Provide ongoing training and education to all staff members on food hygiene, safe food handling practices, and the importance of maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with food suppliers, ensuring they adhere to strict quality and safety standards.
- Investigate and Resolve Issues: Promptly investigate and resolve any food safety or quality complaints, taking corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant and at the forefront of industry standards.
- Collaborate with Management: Work closely with restaurant managers and kitchen staff to foster a culture of food safety and quality throughout the organization.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in food safety and quality control, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene, such as HACCP or ISO 22000.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train staff and interact with suppliers and management.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve food safety and quality issues.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate staff to prioritize food safety and quality.
