- Coordinate marketing efforts by working with the F&B operations team, photographers, and marketing agencies to promote the restaurant.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Source, plan, and organize events for the rooftop and the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure successful execution.
- Train and mentor restaurant staff in areas such as customer service, menu knowledge, and standard operating procedures.
- Foster a culture of excellence and professionalism among the staff.
- Monitor the dining floor to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the restaurant's wine selection and assist customers with wine choices.
- Encourage and train staff on upselling techniques during shifts.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, vendors, and suppliers to enhance the restaurant's offerings and profitability.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and organize new services, such as catering and restaurant takeovers.
- Ensure the successful implementation of these new services.
- Oversee the booking and reservations department, ensuring efficient table management and reservations.
- Handle any issues related to bookings effectively.
- Supervise and support operational managers in their day-to-day duties.
- Ensure efficient operation of the restaurant and adherence to company standards.
- Handle human resources-related tasks, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a positive work environment and resolve any staff-related issues.
- Supervise maintenance and engineering personnel to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment.
- Address any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends.
- Proficiency in handling marketing, events, and staff training.
- Familiarity with security and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- 1-2 years experience
