Retail Manager – Sustainable Tourist Venue (Kuta)

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of retail operations, including merchandise sales, inventory management, and customer service. This role plays a critical part in enhancing guest experiences, maximising retail revenue, and ensuring operational efficiency within the venues.
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum three years of Retail Management experience, ideally within the Hospitality or Entertainment sector.
- Proven success in driving retail sales, managing inventory levels, and meeting financial targets consistently.
- Experience overseeing multiple retail locations or outlets is a plus.
- Proficient in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems, with the ability to train and support team members in these tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with hands-on experience in managing vendor relationships and supply agreements.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with vendors to optimise product selection, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of retail operations, including weekends and holidays.
- Effective leadership abilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing retail teams.
- Strong focus on operational excellence and attention to detail to ensure seamless store operations and customer satisfaction.
- To ensure each outlet is managed successfully to achieve the sales target and become a profit center.
- To monitor all costs, retail recommends measures to control them.
- To coordinate with the related department on purchasing for stock of food & beverage, and make any PR needed.
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, training, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions.
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts and maintaining inventories.
- Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion, authorising clearance sales and studying trends.
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans, analysing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
- Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, enforcing program, operational, personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Checking on each counter performance (product, manning, selling, complaint).
- To control and supervise store and storage inventories.
- To prepare the outlet schedule.
- Offering the correct information regarding all facilities availability in the park.
- Cooperate and maintain a good relation with fellow employees and superiors.
- To accommodate and communicate all information from Management and employees in terms of nurturing a harmonious relation.
- To develop a solid team that drives client satisfaction through hands - on management.
- Maintain a good working atmosphere in the outlet, ensuring staff awareness and discipline.
- Direct control to all retail staff and give direct correction if any bias behavior occurs.
- Plan and conduct training to the retail staff.
