We are currently hiring an Accounts Technician to join our Finance team on a permanent contract at Carton House.


Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and other accounting records;
• Produces, collates and reports financial information for managers;
• Liaises with clients to ensure that payments are made on time and credit limits are not exceeded;
• Ensure invoices and payments are correct and sent out on time;
• Monitors accounting systems to determine accounts are being maintained affectively and provides information on accounting practices to auditors

Key Requirements:

• Hotel accounts /bookkeeping background is essential.
• Experience with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Strong IT skills in implementing and operating accounting software and front office systems.
• Experience with Opera an advantage.
• Full working knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook and word.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent attention to detail, have high initiative and be result focused with an ability to prioritise tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
